We are always improving our website to add new features and fix bugs. Sometimes when we refresh the site codes your browser may keep some old versions of the pages in your website browser. In order to make sure you these changes work properly you may need to clear your cache.
You can also try going incognito or private browser mode to see if this fixed the issue. When browsing in a private mode the browser is not saving any details on the site so you can test to see if this works - if it does then it means there is an issue with the cached version of the website.
What is Cache?
The cache is a data file on your computer or tablet that stores website date to make it faster to look the next time you visit it. it means you don't download the site in full only the bits that have changed when you go back. This speeds up your browsing/
What does cleaning it do?
Cleaning the Cache is simply deleting the files that remember things about the site so you can start afresh. You only need to do this if you experience issues with the website.
Should I delete all my Cache?
No, not to start with. Normally you can identify just the one website and remove data for that site. The cache is really handy and can do things like remember what you put in your basket (if you are signed our website you don't need to worry we will remember it on our side), remember words you typed into the side, speed up the side and more handy things. So you don't want to clear all the websites you ever visited if you don't need to. So to start with we always recommend just clearing the cache for the Tonic site to see if that does the trick.
Will it delete my login details that it puts in automatically?
Normally no - most modern websites store the password re-entry details in the cookies. It may be needed to clear these if nothing else works but the cache normally does the trick. If you ever forget your password you can use the 'forgot password' link the login screen or contact the team on customer service and they can help you get back into your account.
